I don't think there is a prouder moment for an editor than seeing one of my authors in the wild! It was so special seeing @author_kr_house at Author Nation with her debut novel, the Call of Wind. One nice thing about having cats instead of children is I can post them online without anyone stealing their identity. Though, Gus still looks like I'm invading his privacy. It's not easy to get a pic of them together, so enjoy this rare moment of brotherly tolerance.

A little over a year ago, I took the chance during my honeymoon in Scotland to visit the famous Leakey's Bookshop in Inverness. I could have spent hours browsing these shelves - it reminded me of my dad's basement, though way less musty.

I get terrified by heights, so the Harry Potter ride at Universal is actually weirdly perfect for me. It's so freaking cool ... gotta give kudos to the artists, designers, engineers, and builders who brought this into existence (and only them - IYKYK)

One of the most beautiful and unusual places I've ever visited, @seerockcity just outside Chattanooga, TN. I get a lot of writing inspiration from nature, and here, art and nature mix in lovely and sometimes contradictory ways. What would your character do in a location like this?

Once upon a time, I had a little office in a little house in Missouri, and that's where I started my editing business #midwriteeditorial. Many miles and much experience separate us now, but I'll always be grateful to my past self for being brave enough to try this career.

The money tree's name is Ferguson, he's about a foot taller now, and still sits in my current office in Las Vegas. He hasn't made me rich yet, but any plant that can survive my care in a desert climate must be extraordinarily lucky.
